Ayurvedic Abhyanga Massage Training

We invite you to our traditional “Rasovai Abhyanga Ayurveda Massage” course in Goa-India.

We are conducting this training in regular monthly classes and also as Private coaching in your convenient dates.

  • Abhyanga is one Indian traditional ancient massage originating in Kerala done using substantial quantity of Sesame 0il or medicated Ayurvedic herbal oils.
  • This a gentle massage with flowing long strokes moving over the whole body in a repetitive sequence.
  • We are teaching the traditional technique of Abhyanga and also have added some more wholesome massage strokes which integrates our focused Meditative Conscious Touch using gentle pressure.
  • The massage works to bring balance to the aggravated Doshas  (the constituents)  restoring the equilibrium and restoration to the Vikruti (alterations ot the human  philosophy of synchronization with oneself.
  • This therapy brings profound relaxation, rejuvenation, calm, peace, dosha balancing, oilation of the skin and tissues.

You will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the course.

Students are given Massage Course Manuals that contains:

  • Text and theory.
  • Basic Ayurveda text and explanation.
  • Video of the massage sequence.

What Will You Learn?

  • This specialized full body massage step by step from back to the front and including head massage.
  • You will learn the traditional Abhyanga techniques of back body and front body in lying down positions.
  •  We teach also extra movements and unique techniques of long flowing, rhythmic, rounded strokes that enhances even more the effect of Abhynga massage.
  • All massage techniques of massages and bodywork are demonstrated by the teacher and then repeated by students until the correct movements are acquired.

  • You will learn the complete sequence of giving a satisfying Abhyangam session.
  • Basics of Ayurveda and Tri-Dosha Theory.

Ayurvedic oils. Use. Techniques of the front Upper Body. Practice with guidance.

Day 4

Full body Practice of each batch.

About Our Location

The regular training is provided at Oceanic Yoga in Morjim
The location is in the coastal zone of the North Goa.
The beaches are long and have the possibility of swimming, surfing  and having long walks.
In Monsoon time which is from June till October end you have the possibility to still visit the beach but you can not swim. But Monsoon time is perfect to enjoy the greenery, soak in the rains and enjoy the calmness of non touristy Goa.
