Training Place in Goa

Rasovai is conducting our trainings at the premises of ‘Oceanic Yoga’ situated in the Coastal belt of North Morjim in Indian winter time of November to April. From July to October when Oceanic Yoga is closed due to Monsoon season the trainings are conducted at Shankar House in Newwada, Morjim.

Oceanic Yoga center is 800 meters from the beach. The facility rests on the slope of Morjim Hills surrounded by lush green nature. In the center you will get cottages to stay, dining area, swimming pool and halls for the courses.

This is a very beautiful place away from the beach area traffic and noises. Its a very silent and tranquil location that is perfect for your training, learning or attending a wellness program.

Fees and Accommodation Options

You an choose to stay at the training location of Oceanic yoga or at another options as provided below. The training locations of Oceanic Yoga and Shankar House, both are located in New Wada Morjim Goa. You can also check on google map for accommodations and you will find various options that are close by to us.

The stay provided by Oceanic Yoga for our students in the training premises is available from October till May. From June till September this place is closed.

This stay includes three meals for the duration of your stay. Sunday will be a break day and only breakfast is provided. But then you have the option to go the beach close by and check out various other possibilities.

Alternatively you can also stay at other close by locations. The rates at the different Guest Houses and Hotels go considerably down between January 15th to December 10th. They are highest in December Mid to Mid January end. If you are looking for Budget options then ‘Feb to May’, July to October (cheapest) or ‘Oct to mid December’  is the best time to join our courses.

Travels and Taxi for Goa:

Goa has two national airports with flights coming from all the major Indian cities and some international origins.

1. Manohar International Airport. Distance to our training location is 28kms. Its a newly built airport and is very convenient to fly in and out from here. The Airport code is GOX
2. Dabolim Airport. This is at a distance of 53kms from our location. The airport code is GOI

To arrive comfortably we suggest you to take a flight that has a changeover at a airport outside  India. This way you entry to India is directly in Goa and not in another Indian airport.

The other options involve you arriving to Mumbai, Delhi or Bangaluru (Bangalore) and then flying to Goa.

The taxi fare is about 2200 Rupees from the Dabolimn Airport and about 1600 Rupees from manohar Airport. The rates fluctuate as per the taxi, time of pick up and drop. They can be lower the suggested rates above.

Apart from this the state is also covered by railway. The main train stations are Thivim, Vasco De Gama and Madgaon. If you are coming for the first time then we suggest to take flight into Goa.

Do not take a train that arrives late in the night to Goa. You will not find a taxi that can bring you to the location.

Meals during the course:

Your meals are included in the package with stay. Lunch is included for all. For those who are staying outside the premises you will find numerous options to eat in the area. There are about more then three dozen eating points in the Morjim area.

All these facilities are providing food ranging from International cuisine to Authentic Indian cuisine. For the times when you want to have a meal in front of the ocean, the beach also has multiple numbers of restaurants along the coast line.

Basically, each one to their preference has an option of food in the area.
