Rasovai Massage Training Center in Goa is offering training in ‘Ayurvedic massage” (Pune Tradition), also known as ‘Ayurveda Yoga Massage’. The training is complete and two levels are combined to give you all the expertise.

This massage is a tradition of Pune and coming from Grandmaster Kusum of Aiyangar therapeutic yoga tradition who has evolved this art to its current level. In this massage, we use oil and an herbal powder. The massage is done on a mattress on the floor.
The herbal powder used in the massage is Calamus and is a very good detoxifying herb. It is anti septic, anti-inflammatory and exfoliating. It helps to bring out the deep seated toxins from lymph and muscles.

Ayurveda yoga massage can be a series of treatment or a relaxing, detoxifying and rejuvenating experience. It is strong but gentle on the whole body with massage strokes over the whole body and various supportive gentle but effective yoga stretches combined in the session.
In this massage, we use oil and an herbal powder. The massage is done on a mattress on the floor. We use hands and also the Feet to give massage. There are further many more deep techniques to work deep into the layers of the body, sooth the muscles, tone the tissues and relieve the tensions. Along with this then yoga stretching are done according to the condition and necessity of the client/ receiver
The massage also brings more Prana, vital energy in the body, helps to remove the toxins seated deep in to the musculoskeletal system and in the blood stream .The series of yoga stretching helps in better alignment and breathing.

Highlights on Ayurveda Yoga Massage Course
This is an intensive continuous course for 11 days.
This is the only course of Ayurvedayoga Masage that teaches you all the skill set in one training without unnecessary various levels to overcharge you.
The course is interactive that means there is repetitive demonstration of techniques and supervised practise. The students practise with each other and on invited model guests.
The students are encouraged to understand the core of the techniques and not just repeat the movements technically. This allows the sequence and techniques to sink into ones system.
In this course the students learn to use their hand, fingers and fist moving with specific strokes, to work on the various layers of the body.
Thhis is the only course where the students also learn to give a deep tissue work on gross muscles using feet. Unlike Ashiatsu or Charoiti massages where the whole body weight can fall on the receiver, here a Stoll is used to shift and balance the weight in a more effective way.
The ayurveda basic taught in the course allows you to understand the body from this unique approach and understand the concept of braining balance into the clients.
The course follows the curriculum of Yoga Alliance of importance of Anatomy teaching. There are lessons in Functional Anatomy in relation to the techniques and Yoga stretches applied in a session. This allows students to work at deeper levels than many other techniques with the knowledge and understanding of human system.
You are given a book and notes during the course.
You are provided a certificate of the no of hours completed which can be added to yours CV or used as a proof of Education and Skills acquired. The certificate is valid for Insurance.
Who can Join?
Everybody who is a bodywork specialist, physiotherapists, health care professionals, massage therapists and others who are ready to learn deep Ayurveda and Yoga based work and likes to learn more in the art of touch and being touched can join the training.
The training is specially useful to Yoga teachers who can use this skill to further align their students with support and in necessities even give sessions to help them further.
The prerequisite or experiences needed to join the training.
Though it does help if you already are into bodywork but it’s not essential to join the course. The training welcomes everyone whether you are a new learner or already in the field of Yoga or Bodywork. The couse is designed in such a way that every one can learn irrespective of their background.e and start giving sessions after the course.
Topics & Curriculum
You learn the specific massage sequence used in this massage.
You will have lessons in Anatomy and physiology & Ayurveda basicss.
You learn to give massage on the floor (on the mattress).
You learn different techniques of massaging the whole body including neck, head, hands, feet, shoulder and face.
You learn the various deep massage techniques using your hands, fist, fingers, thumb and applying your own body weight to give a deep satisfying massage without exhausting yourself.
You learn to use of feet on the body. Walking and massaging with feet. To go deeper into specific parts and open them.
You will learn to use stool while massaging with the feet to shift wait on the body as per the need.
You will learn the different yogic stretches used in the massage and their importance in alignments of spine and opening the particular joint. You learn to give gentle but powerful yogic stretches on different parts of body.
You are taught the advance sequence to treat certain ailments and physiological conditions.
Daily practice with other participants.
